The strength of Gold Star comes from the involvement and achievements of the Wales Africa Linking Network, over 80 community linking groups across Wales and Africa involved in delivering 'twinning for development' projects.
Gold Star provide staffing support to facilitate Wales - Africa link groups to work together in accessing specialist development advice, grant funding, training and networking events, information and communications, representation and profile, and awards recognition. The Project Manager has a 'roving role' supporting groups across Wales, with an office base at WCVA's Cardiff headquarters.
